Migrants evacuated - 1,606 migrants have been evacuated from two migrant camps in Porte de la Chapelle north east of Paris. 600 police officers were mobilized for the intervention. Many volunteers from different associations were also present. France’s Interior Minister Christophe Castaner had made "the commitment to evacuate by the end of the year the camps of north-east Paris". Paris’s police chief said "The move aims not only to take care of migrants, but also to stop these deplorable facilities that are on abandoned roads which belong to the municipality of Paris or the state,".
