Music, art & freedom return for the Grand Prix Weekend
From May 23 to 25, SUNSET returns to the beach of the Méridien Beach Plaza for its highly anticipated 12ᵗʰ edition. What began as a spontaneous gathering of friends has evolved into one of the signature events of the Monaco Grand Prix — a unique fusion of music, art and freedom, rooted in the local scene and reaching far beyond.
“Sunset started as a friends-and-family gathering. Now we’re curating world-class experiences with iconic artists—still rooted in our love for high-quality music, never losing the soul,” says Cédric Houdrouge, co-founder of SUNSET.
This year’s opening act is none other than PAWSA, the London-based tech-house heavyweight and co-founder of Solid Grooves, making his Monaco debut. He will be joined by global icons such as Honey Dijon, as well as Parallelle, the Monaco-born duo now lighting up stages from Tomorrowland to Burning Man. The line-up continues with Salomé Le Chat, II Faces, and a host of rising talents performing across three days from noon to midnight.
But SUNSET is more than a festival - it’s an experience. Back for its second year, Casa Sunset brings a relaxed, open-access alternative with DJ sets, live Grand Prix screenings, and bold Latin-American cuisine by chefs Paola Segura and Yoni Gurman. Open until 3 a.m., Casa Sunset extends the celebration with its own identity and rhythm.
On the artistic side, contemporary sculptor Richard Orlinski returns with monumental works on the sand, while immersive performances take centre stage - including a dancer suspended from a 15-meter floating heliosphere and a large-scale light show projected onto the venue and the façade of the Méridien.
