Please note: The Rio event had to be cancelled due to safety concerns related to a fault discovered on the wing of the F50s.

This will be the 9th Sail Grand Prix event of the 2025 Rolex SailGP Championship Season,
and the 4th edition of the France Sail Grand Prix in Saint-Tropez.

The Boats:

F50s are ultra-powerful foiling catamarans – true technological marvels capable of “flying” at speeds over 100 km/h. All boats are identical to ensure fair competition.
The new “high-speed T-Foils,” installed on all boats this season, enhance performance, control, and safety at high speeds.

Format:

Each event runs over 2 days, with 4 races of about 12 minutes each day (within a 1.5-hour slot, broadcast live on Canal+ Sport 360).
There is one winner per event.
Each team earns points at every Grand Prix.
At the end of the season, the top 3 teams face off in a final winner-takes-all race, with the champion taking home 2 million dollars.
