Update on strike action affecting petrol supplies

Update on strike action affecting petrol supplies - While the French government has threatened this morning to intervene to unblock strike action by oil refineries and depots, unions of ExxonMobil have announced this morning that the movement has been renewed “due to the company not meeting the demands of the striking employees who are asking for purchasing power”. Central CGT union representative Christophe Aubert, told French media that the “management's proposal is essentially a bonus and not a salary increase”.
