Weather - Today looks set to be much warmer than normal for this time of year with highs of 23 degrees expected for Draguignan in the Var. The warmer weather marks a sharp contrast to this time last year, when the Côte d’Azur was covered in snow in what was referred to as "the Moscow-Paris effect", when a corridor of cold air, saw temperatures from Russia hit the region. Forecasters predict that temperatures will return to normal, ie winter, from March 1st.
