Thoroughbred horse auctioned for 1.6 million euros

Racehorse - An 18-month-old English yearling has been auctioned for 1.6 million euros in Deauville, Normandy. On the second day of the auction on Sunday professionals in the field were ready to pay astronomical sums for future racehorses. The thoroughbred horse from Normandy was sold to a famous Dubai stable. A second thoroughbred son of Galileo, and one of the best stallions in the world, was auctioned at 1.5 million euros earlier in the day. The auction continues today from 1pm.
