Number of victims from storm Alex on the rise - The number of people killed in severe flooding in the Alpes Maritimes and northern Italy has risen to twelve with at least 20 people still missing.

Three bodies were meanwhile found in south-eastern France on Monday. A day earlier, rescuers had found the body of a man whose car had been washed away in Saint-Martin-Vesubie, in the Alpes-Maritimes.
