Vettriano’s paintings, especially The Singing Butler, achieved international success, despite scorn from critics. His pieces were loved by many, including celebrities like Jack Nicholson and Alex Ferguson.  His death, announced on Instagram was met with tributes. There are no suspicious circumstances surrounding his passing. Vettriano’s work will continue to inspire future generations, marking the end of an era in contemporary Scottish art.
