Owner of AS Monaco announced donations to Ukraine - The Russian billionaire Dmitri Rybolovlev, owner of AS Monaco, has announced in a press release that he had "decided to make donations in order to provide humanitarian aid", to help the civilian populations who suffer from the armed conflict in Ukraine. Among the Russians residing in Monaco is Dmitri Rybolovlev, a wealthy businessman and owner of AS Monaco, the Ligue 1 football team.

Majority shareholder of AS Monaco since 2013 and Monegasque resident since this period, Dmitri Rybolovlev officially left Russia in 2010. He has a Cypriot passport and his name does not appear in the lists of Russian personalities whose European Union has frozen assets.
