Ropes to Facilitate Exiting the Water

Ropes have been installed to facilitate swimming and exiting the water, particularly for seniors, on five beaches in Nice. This initiative, running from July 1 to August 31, aims to make swimming safer by addressing the steep incline and sudden depth of the beaches. The ropes, inspired by old fishing methods, are placed at lifeguard stations and are appreciated by many for providing stability and reducing the risk of falling, especially in strong waves.
