Red Air Pollution Alert - A red air pollution alert has been issued on Friday, on the 17th of January, due to high levels of fine particles (PM10) caused by stable, cold weather and increased combustion emissions for the Bouches-du-Rhône department . Residents,especially vulnerable individuals, are advised to limit intense physical activities. In neighbouring Vaucluse, a yellow alert has been declared, recommending precautions for sensitive groups, alongside stricter controls on speed, pollution, and waste burning.
