Postal service in France

Postal service in France - The postal service in France is to launch tests in March to eliminate daily post rounds. The announcement has led unions fearing job cuts in the long term, yet management has denied this.  La Poste will launch from March 68 tests throughout France in order to reorganize mail distribution rounds. According to the unions, they will ultimately serve to reduce the number of postmen. La Poste denies this highlighting the evolution of the profession adding that the purpose is to “adapt as best we can to new developments in the field”.
