Poll

Poll - According to a poll carried out by Opinion Way published on Monday more than two-thirds of French say they want an institutional reform after the big national debate which has been launched today in response to the crisis of the "yellow vests" movement. The survey showed that 65% of the respondents are also waiting for a referendum with only 47% wanting to participate in the national debate which will last until mid-March. Respondents are pessimistic about the real impact of the debate on the movement of "yellow vests": 67% think it will not help the crisis.

The online survey was conducted from January 9 to 11, 2019 with a sample of 1,065 people representative of the French population aged 18 and over.
