Police launch search for missing mother and daughter - Police in the Var have launched a search following what they believe to be a “possible parental abduction“. The 30 year old mother and her 3 year old daughter have been missing since Monday. They were last seen in Cavalaire sur mer. The young woman lives in Le Muy and works in Sainte-Maxime. She was last seen wearing dark trousers, a white t-shirt and a sleeveless jacket. The little girl was wearing grey shorts with white tights a light top and a beige sleeveless vest. Investigators believe the disappearance is due to a custody dispute between the parents of the child.
