French inventor Franky Zapata speaks of next project - Franky Zapata the 40-year-old French inventor who has just completed crossing the Channel on a Flyboard has announced his next project while speaking to French media this morning and it involves crossing the Channel in a flying car. Zapata added that, he believes very strongly in his flying car project, which he thinks could "give everyone the ability to fly like he does and to take off wherever you want”. He assures that his prototype is already "functional" .
