Motorway pay tolls set to rise

Motorway pay tolls set to rise - France’s Transport Minister is set to announce this weekend a rise in pay tolls on French motorways which is due to come into effect on February 1st next year. Last year there was a rise in tolls which was one of the causes of the yellow vest movement in France. A rise of between 1 and 1.5% is the forecast according to reports. The association “40 million motorists” has critised the move which in their view will revive strong protests across the country.
