Most beautiful tramway in France is in Montpellier – Montpellier has been voted the city with the most beautiful tramway in France. Since the opening of the Nantes tramway in 1985, more than twenty towns and cities across France have built new tram lines. Twelve cities in France were in the ranking . Strasbourg came 2nd and Angers 3rd. The tramway in Nice ranked 8th in the survey behind Marseille and ahead of Grenoble, Nantes and Lille.
