Monaco to invest 60 million euros for renovation of tunnel - Monaco authorities have announced a 60 million euros investment into work to be carried on the Rainier III tunnel which links Monaco to France. The tunnel which opened in 1994 and leads from the Principality to Cap d’Ail underwent a survey on Thursday morning. The work, which will include the introduction of safety points for motorists, in the case of an emergency are expected to be completed by 2026.
