Local start up launches crowdfunding – A Riviera startup has launched a crowdfunding campaign that will allow it to manufacture "the smartest glasses in the world". The founder of Ellcie Healthy, Philippe Peyrard, says the “glasses will change the daily lives of those who wear them and save lives”.
Equipped with 18 sensors the data provided will be able to detect the risk of falling, falling asleep at the wheel as well as lack of physical activity among other things. The start up founded in Nice in 2016 and based for more than a year, in Villeneuve Loubet created a prototype in May last year and needs 300,000 euros to manufacture the glasses.
