Investigation opened after inmate commits suicide in his cell in Monaco

Investigation opened after inmate commits suicide in his cell in Monaco - An investigation has been opened after an inmate was found dead at the prison here in Monaco. The 28-year-old was found hanged in his cell last week by security guards. According to reports the man a Romanian national had been in custody since last August and was awaiting trial for theft and fraud. This is the first time a prisoner has taken his own life in the prison here in the Principality.
