International Women’s Sports Day

International Women’s Sports Day - For the first time in Monaco, an International Women’s Sports Day has been held. On Friday, January 24th the event was celebrated with a Motorsport Edition at the Prince’s Car Collection. The day aimed to inspire the next generation of female talent in motorsport. Supported by Iron Dames and the FIA Women in Motorsport Commission, the conference introduced young women to career opportunities in motorsport. Monaco-based students attended the event, with an impressive lineup of speakers who shared their experiences and expertise.

The conference coincided with the launch of the not-for-profit book 100 Years of Women: Motorsport & Monaco, printed and published in Monaco by Carob Tree Publishing. Beautifully illustrated the book, which is meticulously researched, features some of the world’s greatest female drivers, from rally to F1, who have competed in Monaco since 1925. For more information or to support the initiative, the book is available at Carob Tree Publishing website.
