French Grand Prix in Nice? - A project to bring the F1 French Grand Prix to Nice is currently being considered. According to F1 boss Stefano Dominicali, the city of Nice is a serious track to host an F1 GP. A suggestion which has recently been mentioned in an interview. The current contract for the Grand Prix de France at Le Castellet, in the Var, is still being renegotiated. According to Dominicali he has already met with the mayor of Nice, Christian Estrosi, and Eric Boullier, the general manager of the Grand Prix de France, to discuss the project together. Since 2018 after ten years of absence, the Grand Prix de France has been held every year on the Paul-Ricard circuit in Le Castellet, in the Var.
