Forest fire - A violent fire has ravaged 12 hectares of forest a few kilometers from the Var and is now under control. Firefighters on Sunday managed to extinguish the fire which had been raging since Saturday morning, on the heights of Grasse. Twelve hectares of forest were destroyed. After more than 24 hours by air and on the ground up to 160 fireifghters were deployed. The departmental road which overlooks Chemin Saint-Jean, was cut off in Cabris since Saturday evening, and reopened on Sunday at around 4 p.m. Five homes were threatened by the flames. No injuries were reported.
