Fatal house fire in northern France

Fire -  Seven children aged 2 to 14 and their mother have died overnight from Sunday to Monday, in a fire at their house in Charly-sur-Marne, 80km from Paris. The father was, seriously burned and was taken to hospital in Château-Thierry. The children, five girls and two boys, and their parents were sleeping on the 2nd floor of the townhouse when the fire broke out. The firefighters were notified at 12:52 a.m. by a call from neighbours and were able to quickly bring the fire under control. Officers are currently on site to establish the cause of the fire.
