Education minister expresses her intention to close a private Muslim college in Nice - The Minister of National Education, Nicole Belloubet, has announced her intention to close in Nice, a private Muslim college due to "unclear financing”. After several reminders, the college with four high school classes failed to give answers on its financing sources. Belloubet has since asked the rector of the Nice academy to clearly apply the 2021 law and to propose to the prefect the closure of this establishment, taking into account the academic situation of the students. In response the establishment has indicated that it will refer the matter to the State Council.
