Driest year ever

Driest year ever - According to Météo-France the Alpes-Maritimes has experienced it driest year ever this year with only 620 mm of rainfall in the department. The previous record dates back to 1989 when there was just 667 mm of rainfall. Météo France warns that this historic drought could increase the risk of flooding during “Mediterranean episodes” this Autumn.
