Decision on hunting to be announced by the French government today - After several months of debate, the French government will today announce its decisions to make hunting more secure and reduce the number of accidents with the possibility of introducing a ban on hunting on Sunday’s. According to figures, the number of hunting accidents has been on a downward trend for 20 years. Nevertheless, for the 2021/22 season, 90 accidents were recorded compared to 80 the previous season. Among them, eight fatal accidents, including two with non-hunter victims.
