Blue Shark spotted in Hyères in the Var

Blue Shark spotted in Hyères in the Var - Firefighters in the Var have announced the presence of a blue shark measuring two metres in the Almanarre beach area in Hyères in the Var this Wednesday morning. The announcement was made via a post on their Twitter account. Initially announced closed, the beach area remains open for the time being.

Note - Although the blue shark is not considered to be aggressive, it is potentially dangerous to human beings and has been implicated in several unprovoked attacks.
