BFMTV - In response to criticism made by “yellow vests” and French politicians about the news channel, in an interview on France 5, the editor of BFMTV suggested “they turned off or change channels.” Céline Pigalle, added that watching the rolling news channel all day had a negative effect on some politicians and members of the “yellow vest” movement. BFMTV had initially taken steps creating an “editorial committee” following criticism about some aspects of its news coverage.
