Back to school - As school children across France return to school today several teaching unions have announced plans for strike action in September, against the reforms to education. Changes include compulsory education from the age of 3 and the reform of the baccalaureate which will see the end of sections such as L, ES and S. 12.4 million schoolchildren, college and high school students and their teachers will be affected by the reforms.
