Warning of fraudulent emails

Warning of fraudulent emails – Monaco’s Public Security Department have issued a warning about fraudulent emails which are currently circulating sent in their name. The emails have been sent over the last 48 hours in an untargeted manner, from different email addresses and some manage to escape the spam filters of email providers. The emails inform their recipients that they are allegedly implicated in a legal procedure which requests, the opening of a PDF document, contained as an attachment, as well as a response by e-mail. Recipients are advised to not answer, not to open the attachment, to forward the email to cyber@gouv.mc and to delete it immediately.
