Two hotels in the region classified as “palaces”

Two hotels in the region classified as “palaces” - The Château de Saint-Martin and Spa in Vence and the hotel Le Cheval Blanc in Saint-Tropez have joined the very exclusive club of palaces, a distinction given to 31 luxury establishments in France.

Formerly named La Résidence de la Pinede and bought by the LVMH group, Le Cheval Blanc opened last May. It’s the fourth hotel in the Var to join the exclusive club after the Byblos and the Château de la Messardière in Saint Tropez and the Reserve Hotel Spa and Villas in Ramatuelle.

In Vence, the Château de Saint Martin and Spa becomes the third establishment in the Alpes-Maritimes to join after the Grand-Hotel du Cap-Ferrat, in Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat and the Cap Eden Roc hotel in Antibes.

In France Paris remains the city with the most palaces.
