Tourism - France, one of the most visited countries in the world, is already seeing the consequences of the Covid-19 coronavirus on its economy. France’s Finance Minister Bruno Le Marie has said that the country has "30 to 40%" fewer tourists due to the epidemic of viral pneumonia.  He added it’s “an important impact on the French economy," stressing the fact that France receives some 2.7 million Chinese tourists each year.

The toll of the viral pneumonia epidemic reached 2,592 dead in mainland China on Monday after announcing another 150 deaths, health officials said. More than 77,000 cases of infection have been recorded in mainland China since the start of the epidemic, and some 1,500 others have been observed in more than 25 countries and territories.
