The “Volume” popular music venue in Nice - A popular music venue the “Volume” in Nice is under threat as hopes to reinstate it “fade” according to the organisers. The “Volume” closed its doors in 2014 after the city council decided to relocate the venue to new premises on Place Garibaldi. However musical activities have since been refused at the new location leading to legal action being taken by the association. Organisers claim to have proposed up to 300 music events compared to the six evenings a year which were proposed by the city council.
