Sunday Access to Nice International Airport

Traffic Disruptions for Airport Access on Sunday, June 16

  • Date: Sunday, June 16
  • Time: 5:00 am to 7:30 pm

Key Points:

  • All perpendicular roads accessing the south carriageway between Pont Napoléon III and Avenue des Grenouillères, connecting to Boulevard Georges Pompidou and the airport, will be closed.
  • Traffic will be restricted on Pont Napoléon III to Carrefour de l'Avenue des Grenouillères on two lanes.
  • Access to and from the airport via the Promenade des Anglais will be closed.

Travel Recommendations:

  • By Tram: Use tram line 2 to get to the city center.
  • By Car:
    • Take the A8 motorway and Mathis road.
    • Use exit 51 on A8 for Nice Ouest and the airport.
    • Access to the airport is possible via M6007 or M99 dual carriageway.

Additional Information:

  • Travellers are advised to plan their departures in advance.
  • The "Aéroport / Promenade" stop will be served by line 12 with a modified route.
