Restaurants and bars update on end of lockdown

 

Deconfinement - The date for the reopening of bars and resaurant in France currently closed due to the coronavirus lockdown will be announced at the end of May 2020.

Following the meeting held today with unions from the profession and the French President, Emmanuel Macron it's just been announced that a date concerning the reopening of bars, cafes and restaurants will be announced at the end of May. 

French Minister Bruno Le Maire said this morning that "This is the sector which is taking the brunt of the coronavirus crisis," The Minister of Economy announced several aid measures, such as access to the support fund extended to companies with up to 20 employees and 2 million in turnover.
