Number of burglaries in the region down - Recent figures have shown that there has been a significant drop in the number of burglaries in the Alpes Maritimes region with 31% fewer break-ins in the first seven months of this year. Police say the increase in the number of officers deployed and investigations launched has led to fewer break-ins. A big improvement since 2017 which was a year marked with more than 1,245 burglaries being reported.
