Nice Sees Improvement in Traffic, But Still Faces Congestion Challenges

Nice Sees Improvement in Traffic, But Still Faces Congestion Challenges - Nice Sees Improvement in Traffic, But Still Faces Congestion ChallengesThe INRIX 2024 report shows that Nice is ranked 18th in France for the average time spent in traffic jams annually. Motorists in the Nice urban area spend an average of 32 hours per year in traffic, which is an improvement from the previous year when it was 34 hours. While this is still a significant amount of time, it’s not as severe as other French cities like Paris (97 hours), Marseille (55 hours), and Bordeaux (54 hours), which experience even more congestion.

This improvement in Nice is notable, especially considering that in 2023, 55% of urban areas in Europe saw an increase in traffic delays. The report also shows that the Nice area has gained 2 hours back outside of traffic jams, which suggests some positive changes to local traffic patterns.

Nice is still one of the more congested cities in France, but it's making progress compared to some of the major metropolitan areas like Paris. Would you say traffic is a regular issue you deal with in Nice?
