Give Peace A Chance - The European Broadcasting Union (EBU) has announced that 150 European radio stations will simultaneously broadcast "Give Peace a Chance" this morning at 7.45 GMT against the war in Ukraine. The EBU said that the song, written by John Lennon, can be heard in more than 25 countries, including Ukraine, and private European radio stations will also join this initiative including Riviera Radio.

"Give Peace a Chance", released in 1969 was recorded in Montreal during John Lennon and his wife Yoko Ono's "bed-in" for peace at the Queen Elizabeth Hotel.

Founded in 1950, the EBU, headquartered in Geneva, is the world's largest public service media alliance, with 113 members in 56 countries.
