French Health Minister in favour of a ban on electronic cigarettes - French Health Minister François Braun has expressed his support for a ban on electronic cigarettes. Speaking to French media this morning he said he was "in favour" to ban "puffs", disposable electronic cigarettes popular with adolescents, and which worry doctors and health authorities adding that the government intends to "work with parliamentarians" to achieve a ban, which could be included in the next Social Security financing law or in "other laws before the end of the year".
