French President searches for his fifth prime minister - French President Emmanuel Macron is searching for his fifth prime minister in less than two years, highlighting a deepening political crisis for France as Prime Minister François Bayrou lost a no-confidence vote on Monday. Bayrou’s tough budget cuts have sparked widespread unrest, with strikes planned on the 10th and the 18th of September. Far-right and far-left leaders demand elections or Macron’s resignation. Polls show most French want Macron to quit.

Locally people gather outside Nice townhall - Meanwhile, around 100 people gathered outside Nice town hall on Monday evening to celebrate the resignation of Prime Minister François Bayrou, calling it a "farewell party." Mostly left-wing supporters, including local politicians, used the demonstration as a warm-up for a larger protest planned for tomorrow Wednesday 10th of September.

Train services disrupted - Train services will be disrupted tomorrow, Wednesday 10th of September, across the Côte d’Azur and Var regions because of the "Bloquons tout" social strike movement. However, high-speed TGV Inoui, Ouigo, and international trains will run normally. The main railway unions have urged mass participation in the strike. While other unions have called for a larger strike action on 18th September, SUD-Rail is only backing the 10th of September action. Passengers are advised to check train schedules from Tuesday afternoon.

Busy schedules, kids’ activities, and work are main reasons for fewer shared meals. While 55% of parents eat together every night, 41% struggle with irregular routines. Parents also spend over two hours a week planning meals, often hindered by lack of time and fatigue. Experts stress that even five extra minutes at dinner can improve kids’ health and language skills.
