Father and son arrested suspected of having looted archaeological treasures - A father and son have been arrested near Lake Aiguebelette in Savoie. Both are suspected of having looted archaeological treasures in the waters of the lake for years.

After several months of investigation, the gendarmes discovered at their home nearly 3,000 archaeological pieces, some dating  from the Bronze Age: arrows, axes, keys or statuettes of great value. Some of them are estimated at several tens of thousands of euros.
