Spring-Like Weather - The Toussaint weekend brings unseasonably warm, spring-like weather, with temperatures above 20°C due to the return of the Azores anticyclone in Marseille and the Provence-Alpes region. The Mediterranean Sea also remains warm, around 20°C, making it ideal for swimming. This mild weather is expected to last until at least the 10th of November.

All Saints' Day - In preparation for All Saints' Day, cemeteries along the Côte d'Azur, including those in Saint-Laurent-du-Var and Le Cannet, are being carefully maintained. Staff have been clearing pathways and landscaping, while interactive kiosks help visitors locate graves. Special floral decorations are added to famous graves, honoring the tradition of respecting and commemorating the deceased.

Halloween Incidents - Vaucluse firefighters had a busy Halloween night, responding about 30 times between 11 p.m. and 5 a.m., primarily in Avignon, to assist highly intoxicated individuals in the Vaucluse department. Most incidents were tied to Halloween celebrations, with the youngest case, a 15-year-old, requiring hospitalization.

Fatal Motorcycle Accident - A 17-year-old boy involved in a collision between a motorcycle and a car on Thursday evening in Nice has passed away. The accident occurred around 7:45 p.m. on the 31st of October, and despite being transported in critical condition to Pasteur 2 Hospital, he succumbed to his injuries on Friday morning.

Narrow Robbery Escape - An 18-year-old young man with a mild mental disability has narrowly escaped a trap set through a fake online meeting on Snapchat in le Pontet, near Avignon. Upon arrival at the meeting, two men aged 16 and 18, one of whom a former bully from school, tried to rob him, threatening him with a revolver. On their way to the bank, the young man managed to lock his assailant in his car and fled to alert the police. The police identified and arrested all three suspects, including the young woman who lured him; they will face immediate trial.

Mois Sans Tabac - As part of "Mois sans tabac" (No Tobacco Month), Santé Publique France is hosting workshops throughout November to support residents looking to quit smoking in Nice. These sessions, available by registration, cover a range of support activities, including guidance on healthy habits, yoga, and nutritional advice. The program includes various events such as a smoking cessation workshop on the 7th of November, a diet session on the 13th of November, and concludes with a 4 km guided walk on the 30th of November.

Striking Boeing workers are set to vote on a new offer featuring a 38% pay raise over four years and a $12,000 bonus, which the union supports. The strike, costing Boeing nearly $10 billion, has led to production slowdowns and financial strain, with the company also planning layoffs and facing credit rating risks. Boeing hopes this offer will end the strike and stabilize its finances.

Football - Northern Ireland's Nations League match at home to Belarus on 15 November is set to be played at Windsor Park after the visitors were granted visas.

Rugby Union - England forward Amy Cokayne has suggested next year's Women's Rugby World Cup will be the last edition of the tournament before she retires.
