Escaped prisoner arrested in Nice

Escaped prisoner arrested in Nice - Prisoner Philippe Dubois who escaped on Monday from the Mauzac prison centre in Dordogne has been arrested in Nice, less than 48 hours after his escape. Dubois was arrested in Nice, shortly before 7am on Wednesday morning, near his father's home. Placed in police custody, he was recognized by witnesses and then arrested. While serving a 28-year prison sentence for murder and armed robbery, Philippe Dubois escaped on foot from Mauzac prison, in the Dordogne, on Monday.
