Death toll rises to 6 following flooding

Death toll rises to 6 following flooding - The body of a 60 year old man missing since the region was hit by torrential rain at the weekend has been found by police. Police discovered the body in the Meyronne river in the Var in the early hours of this morning  after the bumper of his car was recovered. The vehicle has not yet been located. The death toll has now risen to six as a result of the bad weather with one person still missing in Cassis in the Bouches du Rhone.
