All electric

All electric - The Compagnie des Autobus de Monaco (CAM) has presented their new 100% electric buses in front of HSH Prince Albert II of Monaco as they get ready to take to the streets of the Principality. Greenhouse gas emissions linked to mobility represent nearly 30% of the Principality's greenhouse gases, after the construction sector and the energy demand of buildings. The energy transition of public transport is a high priority for the Prince's Government, which validated in June 2021 the decarbonization of the CAM bus fleet. The fleet includes 45 buses, 22 of which are hybrids, helping to reduce fossil fuel emissions by 50%. The new fleet now has eight 100% electric buses to its credit and all new buses purchased from now on will be zero local emissions.
