79th Monaco Grand Prix

79th Monaco Grand Prix - While the 79th Monaco Grand Prix marks the return of crowds in the streets and the stands the uncertainty linked to covid has forced the Automobile Club de Monaco to remain vigilant. The traditional autograph session in the pits will not take place this year. The usual Fan zone in the Place d'Armes and the signing session on Friday have also been cancelled.

A decision taken at the beginning of the year when the covid situation did not make it possible to project future health restrictions. It is therefore impossible to imagine opening the Fan zone and ensuring its health security.

However, to maintain the link between the drivers and their public, the Automobile Club of Monaco has however programmed exchanges via social networks, in particular with schoolchildren. And already promises a "big project" in 2023.

Sanitary measures still in force, but not in the stands. There is no need to wear a mask or to present a PCR test or a vaccination pass to take a seat in the stands. On the other hand, certain areas of the circuit are still subject to sanitary measures, albeit relaxed. For high density zones and all those working or involved in the direction of the race, the press room, the pits, the paddocks of F1 and additional races, the TV Compound, must present a valid vaccination pass. For those with a medical contraindication to vaccination, a negative PCR test of less than 24 hours is necessary.
