70-Year-old man drowns in Cannes this Wednesday morning

Cannes: 70-Year-Old Man Drowns at Midi Beach - A 70-year-old man has died after drowning at Midi Beach in Cannes this Wednesday morning, July 30th. The incident occurred at around 8am.  Bystanders pulled the victim from the water before emergency services arrived, but despite their efforts, the man was pronounced dead at the scene.

Fire and rescue service in our region have since issued a reminder of key water safety rules: always supervise children, swim only in designated areas during supervised hours, avoid alcohol before swimming, and exit the water immediately if feeling tired or cold.
