Survey finds SNCF strike action unjustified by 57% of French people - A survey published on Thursday has shown that nearly six out of ten French people (57%) believe that the strike movement at the SNCF planned from the 5th December is unjustified. The survey also looked at the French people's view of the status of railway workers. For two-thirds of respondents (65%), they considered that "the status must be removed, as it’s an out of date privilege".
