President Emmanuel Macron - The French president Emmanuel Macron is participating today in the 75th anniversary of the landing of Provence, which is taking place in Saint-Raphael in the Var. Former French President Nicolas Sarkozy is also present at the ceremony at a military cemetery which holds the remains of 464 soldiers who were killed during the invasion of Provence. Macron has been holidaying in the region for the last three weeks at Fort Brégançon in Bormes Les Mimosas.
